I use flinstone chewable vitamins, my doctor recommended them, and so I don't have issues with swallowing them or getting them stuck.

My Dr also recomended Flintstones, Easy to chew and do not taste too bad. As for my other pills, I have no problem taking them right now. I have had only one fill and feel little restriction. Not sure what I will do when I feel restriction as it takes me forever to split and take all my pills.< /p>

I was doing chewables too, Then i started doing so research on how things get absorbed and for me the isotonic stuff won because it gets absorbed so fast. It also made me full, which was a nice plus. If you do end up trying them let me know what you think.

My problem with the chewable vitamins is the artificial colours and flavours that are used. We're additive-free in our house, so they really go against everything we believe about nutrition!

Ok so this is my first day looking at these forums and I realized that I take the same Vitamins as amandajo. I don't use the same website as her I use www.wellnessmadeeasynow.com but I also take the opc3, the multiple without Iron, the b and I also take a digestive enzyme. I have been taking these for about 6 months now and I feel great and when I take them I am also so full. It's like a meal. I highly recommend them for anyone that had baitric surgery or that want to be healthy in general. They are isotonic so they have an absorption rate that is amazing. I give tHis thread two thumbs up :)

Yes, lots of people sell Market America supplements. Explains why you both buy them through different sites- different MA members.

I've been taking the Bariatric Advantage VitaBand chewable vitamins, dry Vitamin D and sublingual B12. I am tiring of the 2 big Multivitamin taste but I feel so much better when I take them. How is the sweetner in the isotonic stuff? I can't handle a Crystal light because they have too much sweetner so I worry about that. I like the idea but am curiouse about that.

Hey Rosie,

I hate crystal light too. I do like these Vitamins, but i dont like them alone. I mix in the opc3 and the b complex and the taste is not bad. I was even able to get my 6 year old on the multi and she drinks it(its sweeter for kids). Let me know if you have any questions about them.

Amanda Jo :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
