klariade 7 Posted September 2, 2011 Ok, this is odd and I'm wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this. I'm sometimes having trouble with liquids (more often in the morning, but can happen anytime). It doesn't matter if it's hot or cold, but it feels like it's just sitting there on top of my band. I can eat solids just fine, no problems at all except for the occasional stuck on bread or Pasta (which I shouldn't be eating anyway). And holy cow, I can't eat Peanut Butter anymore!!! I don't know what I'm going to do without my peanut butter fix! LOL! Anyway, it just struck me as odd and I haven't ever had trouble with liquids unless I was having trouble with solids as well, which are no problem for me right now. Any ideas what's going on? cwm812 11 Posted September 2, 2011 This happened to me when I was too tight. I had to drink all my liquids very slowly, a sip at a time. I don't really think the liquids are sitting on top of the band, but I always had the feeling that there was an air bubble (or something) in the way. Once I had a small unfill, the problem went away. Also, warm liquids were better than cold ones, for me. Cindy
Acadia 20 Posted September 3, 2011 It usually means you're too tight. I'd go in and ask for 0.10-0.25 cc to be taken out. That can make all the difference - and you won't gain with that little bit out so don't worry about that, you've learned how to eat and how to monitor your restriction. And, you'll be able to actually get all of your fluids in without issue.
