Dragonwillow 0 Posted February 3, 2006 The first 6 weeks is about healing....I know its discouraging. But you don't have a fill yet, and you probally just went from drinking all your meals to actually eating real food again. I gained a little back when I started on the solids again. Don't worry too much and concentrate on healing right now and learning to follow the banster rules.
paula 4 Posted February 3, 2006 Hi Lauren! Yes, this is normal. Once you start solids - before the first fill - its ALL about head work. Just trying to maintain the initial weightloss is the biggest challenge at this point. Good luck Girl! Weve all been there.... its gets easier after that fill! Kryssa 1 Posted February 3, 2006 Don't expect weight loss until after your 2nd? fill. Or longer until you get good restriction. DO NOT beat yourself up for this, you are NORMAL.
tztmama 0 Posted February 4, 2006 Normal, normal, normal. Wait until you have enough fills to be restricted, then it will happen.
princess_n_thep 2 Posted February 4, 2006 All is good. Just heal.
cmr 0 Posted February 13, 2006 your post was almost word for word mine untill about 3 weeks ago when I had my 2nd fill. It WILL happen. You WILL feel restriction and you WILL lose weight. Be prepared, it's not that easy to leave all that food on your plate!
mousecrazy 2 Posted February 13, 2006 Besides getting fills, most weight loss is not a steady, downward course. It is more of a moguls course (shameless reference to the Olympics!). You are going downhill, but there are ups and downs along the way. It's just the standard pattern for me; don't worry. The large majority of bandsters go downhill; it takes time.
