I am almost there weeks out from surgery and I am still having issues with my belly button oozing. When did it stop for all of you?

I am almost there weeks out from surgery and I am still having issues with my belly button oozing. When did it stop for all of you?

maybe you should call your doctor because mine were healed by three weeks. my doctor put the glue strips on mine though and he said they heal better and faster that way. and i never bled or oosed either. so i dont know if this helps you or not. id call the doctors office and check to be sure.

I did talk to him and he said it can take up to 4 weeks

none of my incisions are near the bellybutton so this might be why.i hear it takes longer for ones near or in that area.keep it clean is all you can do i guess. if it gets red or looks infected get to the doctor cause that is probably port area and dangerous if so. good luck.
