Jennifer16005 26 Posted August 26, 2011 I was wondering if banded people feel the band inside.... Does it feel weird at first and you get use to it? Thank you all very much. I have never been put to sleep and never had surgery so i was freaked out to have to feel something inside of me. Thank you for all your replies!!
Pink8671 1 Posted August 27, 2011 The band was my first time having surgery and being put to sleep. That was on 8/19/11!! The surgery is not that bad. I dont even remember it. When I woke up I was confused and unsure if it had been done already or if it was about to happen. I don't feel the band. Stomach soreness has just now subsided and I am exactly 1 Wk post. I just feel a small amount of discomfort in my abdomen but wouldn't call it pain anymore! I do feel the port also.

highland 168 Posted August 28, 2011 I can't feel the port or the band and happy not to!
JoanneD 8 Posted August 31, 2011 I don't feel anything except when I get a fill. Then the doctor really needs to poke at the port to get to it (I'm not very lucky that way) and when he's poking for the port, and moves it with the needle, I feel the band around my stomach. Feels a bit weird, but nothing more than that.
