Hi all!

I have just recently been banded, still pretty sore and uncomfortable.. Having a hard time taking deep breaths and feeling the pains in my left shoulder and around my chest. From what I am told, these things are all normal. Haven't been walking for EXERCISE yet, but have definitely stayed as mobile as possible. I go back to work at my waitressing job on Saturday!

Not really feeling hungry at all, but dreaming of delicious foods! Its my way of saying farewell, me thinks! Enjoying my clear liquid diet (not really) and choking down the Protein Shakes, but really looking forward to switching it up on Friday (Week 2) with Soups and cottage cheese and yogurt.

Thanks letting me share!

Best of luck! Just try to stay as active as you can. The more mobile you are, the faster the gas seems to go. Even waving your hands above your head seems to help.

Gum also helps with the gas..this is a trick I know from my colon cancer surgery

Chewing gum speeds your guts up and I have found really helps with the gas

I still have gas one week later can that be normal

I know they had to pump a lot of air but really a whole week?

Think the gas pains are worst than the cuts

I think I need someone to burp me

Gum is a really bad idea for someone with a lapband. If you accidentally swallow it you could have BIG problems!
