They postponed me, my surgery, I mean, due to my un resolved irregular heartbeat, my doc thinks its medicine related, i dont know, but I go for more tests on Aug 31 and for my follow up with the surgeon on Sept 7, if all is clear, he will put me back on his schedule.

I can sympathize. I have had second thoughts many times. I could have come up with many reasons/excuses to withdraw from the program. It has taken much too long and has not gone smooothly but just a few more days to go. Ready to move on.

I'm almost 2 weeks out and I just want to say that it's been way easier than I had expected. The surgery isn't painful. Incisions never hurt. The gas was managed well. Listened to everybody saying on this forum to walk, so I did, and it really helped. I get to eat mushiess on Tuesday. Can't wait.

I'm a nurse too (30 years) and really have few reservations about the band. I clearly have not maintained a healthy weight or loss for a very long time so I clearly need some help. I want to live long enough to worry about 80 years old and 'banded' so I'm moving forward on 9/9! Good luck.
