Anwyn 0 Posted February 2, 2006 I have a Tanita digital scale. It's the first accurate scale I've ever owned. It was a little pricey (about $60 I think) but it's worth it.
JanetC 2 Posted February 2, 2006 My last scale was $40, but it got stuck at 235, lol. I thought I was maintaining (not happy, but not gaining)... then I went to the doctor & weighed in at 315, hah! I threw the scale away that evening (after rechecking... yep, 235!!) I've sworn off scales, just doing the measuring thing & weighing in when I'm at the doctor's. Thanks for the chance to vent! Hehe. Alexra 0 Posted February 2, 2006 I got the big one, the good old Dr's scale you would see in their offices, yes It cost $300 but it is reliable and will last a lifetime of up's and hopefully down's with me.
Alexandra 55 Posted February 2, 2006 Ali, I have that scale too! I'll never go back to the cheapies. Of course, I didn't buy it--I sort of inherited it from a former roommate--but if I had to I probably would. It's great for all members of the family; my kids love it!
