AlisonTexas41 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Wondering if anyone on here had Pleurisy Post Op?
leatha_g 4 Posted February 2, 2006 It's very common to have chest/shoulder pain after surgery due to the stretching of the diaphragm. Not sure if that's what your referring to or not, but that's very much a post-op complaint for at least a week to 2 weeks.
AlisonTexas41 0 Posted February 2, 2006 I'm not referring to chest or shoulder pain. I'm asking about Pleurisy. Thanks.
leatha_g 4 Posted February 2, 2006 Okey dokey. If I recall, the serious case of Pleurisy that I had upon learning I had systemic lupus surely involved my chest/lung. Just trying to help.
Kathy473 1 Posted February 2, 2006 Well I was clueless but I am now more informed. I didn't know what Pleurisy was so I looked it up and this is what I found. http://www.webmd.com/content/article/7/1680_53636.htm Sounds painful. I hate having the slightest pain in my chest/lung area. :cry
