fourshepards 0 Posted August 17, 2011 I started this journey 214 days ago...that's when I went to the seminar....now, I'm less than 24 hours away!!! Blood work - Check. Chest Xray - check. Barium Swallow - check. Ekg - check. Echocardiogram - check. Stress test, dietician, psychiatrist, pre op diet (ugh) - check, check, check and check!!!! I am so nervous. Am I doing the right thing?? Will my diabetes go away?? Will I look hot in my bathing suit next summer?? I love this forum and all my new friends!! Wish me luck! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Dave_NW 92 Posted August 17, 2011 Yes, you are definitely heading down the right path. Congratulations on everything you've done so far. I'm a year out from where you are today. (I attended the free seminar last August) And I'm down over a hundred pounds. If anyone had told me last August that I'd be sitting here this much lighter this August, I'd have said they were nuts.
