I need help deciding which Protein Drink is the best tasting. I see many people say that GNC's Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 tastes great but I am only required to have between 50-60 grams of Protein per day. I would only be able to have one drink and that would be my total protein for the day and I would much rather spread it out with 20 for Breakfast, 20 for lunch and 20 for different. I looked at Carnation Instant Breakfast and the calorie count seems aweful high. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Unjury is good. You can find them online at unjury.com also, the Atkins pre made shakes are good... They only have 15 grams of Protein though... But they're thicker if you like thicker shakes. Everyone's taste is different so good luck!

Ultimate Nutrition sent me samples of their ultimate whey prostar mix in vanilla and cookie and cream. Both were good but vanilla was my favorite.

I also drink Slim Fast. It may have more calories than some drinks but considering I'm not eating anything else at this point I think I can afford it in order to get my Proteins in. I can't drink /eat something I don't like. Just can't!

I just bought the GNC one that you mentioned. It has 60 grams of Proteins when you use 3 scoops of the powder. Your body can only take in no more then 25 grams of Protein in one sitting. The people who work there suggested to use only 1 scoop, drops the protein to 20grams, 90 calories and 2 carbs. This was you spread your protein out through out the day and use less powder per day.

MUSCLE MILK LIGHT 195 Calories, 25 G. of Protein in powder form.

Lots of flavors. I buy strawberry Milkshake, Cookies n Creme. Peanut Butter chocolate, Chocolate Milk, and Vanilla Creme.

2 scoops do a 8 oz. shake.< /p>

If interested PM me and I will give the website to go to. That's for a 1 1/2 lb. jug. shipping is $5.00 for 1 or 101. It's still the same.

Key thing is,,, it's good stuff.

Muscle Milk Light is okay, but there aren't many flavors, I could only find the chocolate. I mainly drink Atkins, it has more variety, and to me it just tastes better. Best wishes :)

Thank you all for your wonderful suggestions. I decided to try Unjury and see how I like it. My other question is am I suppose to stop drinking Protein Shakes after I am allowed solid foods or can I continue them if I find one I really like? The reason I'm asking is because I know how much Protein fills you up, so can I continue to drink them before my meal or is it not suggested?? Thank you all for your comments you have all been so helpfull.

I still use Protein drinks, it helps to make sure you get all the protein you need, and it helps with the weight loss too :)

I like the Naturade Total Soy powder from Sam's Club. I buy the chocolate and vanilla and mix my shakes with milk, which brings the Protein total to 23 grams.

My surgeon recommends continuing w/ one shake a day since it can be difficult to get all the necessary Protein and nutrients in each day plus many peoples bands are too tight to eat much for Breakfast. I have a shake almost every morning.

Good luck! Joan

Read my above post for variety.... One of the newest one is CAKE BATTER, now I don't know if I would like that or not, but they keep expanding their varities.

Don't know where you shop,,,, but it is available.

I just ordered Pina Coloda, and Blueberries n Creme.

I use Isopure and Love it! 3 cubes and blend.... 2 scoops if it's a meal or 1 scoop just to give me good Protein. 1 scoop 25p 2 scoops 50 grams of Protein!

I really like Jay Robb chocolate whey but it's pricey so I use it sparingly.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
