Bathroom Issues

First of all, I apologize to anyone/everyone for inquiring about this but I can't find anything about it on the site. I am on day 3 of my 14 day liquid diet leading up to my surgery. My doctor has required me to drink 3 Meal Replacement shakes and eat 2 Protein Bars (doctors office supplied all of this) per day. Not sure if it is the shakes or the bars (or broth or jello), but I have been going to the bathroom 8-10 times per day. Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do? Today is Friday so the doctor office is closed, but I plan on calling the doctor Monday to see if there is anything I can do. Thanks for any responses and again, I apologize for the not so fun topic.

Count your blessings. Most people get constipated during the liquid diet. Take some Imodium.

Totally normal. The same thing happened to me. I had a week of nothing but Protein Shakes and diarrhea all day long. I found that chewable Fiber (generic) helped firm it up a little bit, but really, when you only put liquid in.....it isn't uncommon for liquid to be the only output.
