candizzle 0 Posted August 9, 2011 I am 4 days post op.. I usually use readers for close up detail. Since the surgery I feel like my equalibrum is off, sometimes dizzy when i stand. But whats really annoying is i need my glasses on all the time. Is this normal for the proceedure? How long does it last.
Jonna 4 Posted August 9, 2011 I have to wear glasses or contacts because I am blind as a bat seeing far away, I am able to read close up with my glasses or contacts. However, after surgery I had to take my glasses off in order to read my cell phone or read anything close. Now it seems as things are back to normal, thank goodness! I actually was getting quite nervous because I couldn't even see my phone to dail numbers. My sister thought it was a side effect to the pain medicine. My surgery was on a Wednesday and my eye sight begin to improve on Sunday.. back to normal within 7 days.. Not sure what causes it but I do feel better knowing it wasn't just me.. Best of luck, Anna Marie
