ms.lady 3 Posted August 9, 2011 Ok im confused I want to drink apple juice on my clear liquid diet following my surgery on Thursday. But I'm confused on what apple juice I should buy. The instruction says clear liquid and no sugar drinks, I picked up the apple juice that says no sugar added but it has like 26 grams of sugar. What kind did you purchase? lifeisjustbeginning2011 11 Posted August 9, 2011 I'm not sure that it matters - I got the low sugar kind, but actually, I really needed sugar to keep up any energy because I couldn't tolerate the shakes. I watered down my juice quite a bit. I drank a lot of Gatorade G2 (love the fruit punch). Amy Ok im confused I want to drink apple juice on my clear liquid diet following my surgery on Thursday. BaileyRose 13 Posted August 9, 2011 I agree with Amy. I'm a week post op and I've switched to drinking more Gatorade and regular apple juice and orange juice because I need the calories. I'm sure your no sugar added will be just fine :-)
