....... 0 Posted August 4, 2011 Hello all, my name is Jason Beim and I am a newbie here. I am two days removed from surgery and feel great. A little bit about myself: I was always big even when I was younger and athletic. Ballooned to my maximum weight of 297 and realized it was time for a change. Go approved with insurance, picked a surgeon and in four months had surgery. My grandfather has had the Lap-Band surgery and lost 70 pounds and kept it off for three years so I have a great support system. I had some time before my surgery date so I decided to get in the gym with a personal trainer and I lost 20 pounds before surgery. Looking forward to this new journey to get down to my goal weight. Any suggestions or pieces of helpful advice?
