Directions to post pics

Recommended Posts

Hello all! I guess I must be having a brain fart or something. I figured out how to attach a picture as an attachment, but can't figure out how to post them directly into the body of the e-mail. I've tried right clicking on the image, clicking on copy, but then when I go back to the body of the e-mail it will not allow me to paste it there. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Either click on the "Post Reply" button, or below the Quick Reply section, click on "Go Advanced".

Scroll way down to the bottom of the page, past the "Submit Reply" button in the Additional Options section. Click on the "Manage Attachments" button.

A window will pop up. Click on the "Browse" button - find the picture you want in your computer - click on it and click on the "open" button. Now, there should be a string of words in the box next to the "Browse" button. Click the "upload" button and let the system finish the upload. Now, below the "browse" button, there should be a little blue title showing your picture - with a button to the right that says "Remove".

Just close that window. Now, in the manage attachments section, your picture's title should show in blue (just like it did in the other window).

It's attached. When you submit your post, that picture will appear in it. If you attach more than one picture to a post, then you get a link to the picture, instead.

Good Luck!!

Why can other people have more than one pic side by side? Mine are only showing as links like you said, but others can show pictures...

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
