peggy kindler 0 Posted January 31, 2006 Hi. I have a meeting with a lap band surgeon on Valentines Day 2006. I am hoping to get my insurance to make an exception and pay for my lap band. They do pay for gastric bypass but I don't want that and can't have it because I have ulcerative colitis. Anyone else have UC? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Anwyn 0 Posted January 31, 2006 Hi Peggy, welcome to LBT! Is UC short for United Healthcare? If so, they are my carrier and they approved my band.
