tabachoy 0 Posted July 29, 2011 I ate a small piece of steak last night. After 1hr I start to dring Water and it started to go up. I dont knw if its stuck on my pouch or what. This is a first for me. Had my lapband since last november. I am taking some papaya enzyme to make it go down. ANYONE ELSE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM????
idel918 0 Posted July 29, 2011 I feel like that too, but I am stuck on shrimp salad. I chewed it well, but I still feel it. I had it at 12pm and it's 9pm. Hopefully it will go down.
tabachoy 0 Posted July 29, 2011 Can you drink Water without coming back up? Do you feel lightheaded?

54Shirley 105 Posted July 29, 2011 Try to drink WARM, NOT COLD ! Water. Drink small sips so that it will go in and hopefully push the stuck threw. You will feel it drop threw. Could hurt a little, but that's to be expected. Don't be surprised if it comes back up though, it can go either way. Then you have to drink Water like you do when you get a fill, to make sure your empty. Then with the swelling stay on fluids for a couple of days. Or you could swell back up again. Good Luck, Shirley.

tabachoy 0 Posted July 29, 2011 Im trying the hot Water to make it melt away. Hope it works or else im goin to my dr. tom. My next fill is next tuesday. Do you guys know if there is other facility who does unfilling?
Cocoabean 430 Posted July 31, 2011 If you are in need of an emergency unfill, your best bet is to call your surgeon's office for instruction. Even if after hours, there will be someone on call. I'd rather meet someone from my surgeon's office at the ER than have an ER doc attempt it. ER folk are FANTASTIC, but finding that little port...I'd at least want my surgeon's office involved.
