Help finding a PCP that will help me through this

here is the story, I had a Dr in November who recommended me for the surgery at that time i lost my insurance and my PCP is no longer with the practice. I am now 50 pounds heavier and 5 pounds away from not having to do the 6 month requirement. I have a new Dr who is a all natural person who pushes vegetarian on me all the time. I want to cry everyday all i want is this surgery so i can have a life with my 16 month old i cant even get on the floor with him. I need help is anyone in grand rapids who may have priority health *** and a primary care physician that helped them?????

Just some ideas but try researchng a PCP that has a special interest in diabetes or something like that. Also you could work backwards. If there is a bariatric doctor or center of excellence near you see if there is a PCP that works at the same hospital or facility. Perhaps you could try the Michigan forum area to find people who were near you who have a pcp open to bariatric surgery. Most PCP's are not going to push a vegan lifestyle on you though so you may just want to do some Google-ing and find a different one in your area.
