I finally have the level of restrction I had when I was first banded. I was wondering when it would happen and it finally has. You know it is like I guess when a person on crack is searching for that high they got the first time they hit the pipe.( For those of you who may be offended by this remark I apologize butno other analogy comes to me at this time). Well I got it. I can only eat about 3oz at a time. I feel great. I eat Soup now and I am full for about 5 hours. I eat my solid food and it is amazing how much I have left on my plate. I am at 2.8cc's in my 4cc band. I feel good not too tight this is just right. I hope this lasts a long time. I have already lost 4 lbs since Thursday's adjustment. I can't wait to weigh in on Monday with Delarla's challenge. I am so pumped. Well I am off to bed because it is 1:38 am here. NIte Nite

DeeDee, That is great, I am soo happy for you, thats what I have been wondering, do we ever feel like the restriction after the surgery. OK now I know and that is where I want to be. I need to go back soon!!! I just had more put in but not like you, I am at 1.6 and I am still wide open, He was being very cautious and I don't understand when some people are at 2 cc plus. Well DeeDee, you go girl and thanks for answering my questions, yahoo I will feel restriction!!!

Great news for you. I just had my 3rd fill and I am at 2.5 and I hope this is it as well. I am a little over 200 and I can not until I am under 200. Good luck DEEDEE

Congratulations!

The only way the band truly works is to be adjusted to the proper fill level. I think getting proper restriction is the most frustrating part of the whole lapband experience. Glad you got there!

Congrats Dee! I felt like that for about 3 days after Wednesday's fill so I think I'm getting close. I'm at 2.2 and going back to Henderson on the 7th for the fifth fill. How many have you had? Same office, maybe they have same protocol?

This was the 4th fill. I think I was about 2.0ccs and he put about .8 or .9ccs in the port. He said I was close to 3ccs . I feel like I did when I first got banded. I told him I wanted the same restriction that I had when I was banded cause the weight loss was steadier. That may have influenced the amount of fill. I also had to confess to drinking sweet tea! I love the stuff, but now I have to stop. I do use Equal now but it is just not the same. Pray for me!!! LOL When you get to around 2.7cc I bet you will feel it. They say it is different for each person. Maybe you may need less than 2.5 but more than 2.2. I think they like to sneak up on it. I am loving it. I went to a buffet with my sister and her fiance and I wasted their money. Went up twice to eat oysters on the half shell( about 8) and a handful of boiled shrimp. That was it!! I was stuffed and didn't eat over 4oz.

Yay!! DeeDee, that's great! I think I have hit my sweet spot too! I had my fill on the 18th & I have lost 10 lbs. since. The inches are falling off too! Get your measuring tape out girlfriend!! We are almost the same weight & have about the same restriction. Cool!! Do the dang thang girl!!

Hey Ms Diva - can you please tell me what you're feeling when you're restricted. I've have 3 fills and really don't feel anything. I feel a little tight in my throat when I don't chew very well but I still can consume more then I would like. Just really want to know how I should be able to tell when I'm truly restricted. And you GO GURL.
