lalida 0 Posted July 17, 2011 I was wonder if there's anyone out there who has Tricare and know if it's possible that they would pay for the romoval of the lap band? I do have a lap band. I am attending college and before I graduate I would like to get the lap band remove because I would like to join the military. I've done research and know that WITH the lap band I have no shot of getting in. Even getting it remove doesn't garantee that I'll get in due to the fact that you could have complications which is why I want to get it removed at least a year before I try. Does anyone know if they only remove it due to complications? Would food not going down and throwing up be a good enough reason (this does happen a lot but I have not gotten a shot in atleast 4 or 5 months so maybe that's a reason?) Thank you!
