In fact in 2 weeks and 1 day...lol yes I am on a count down I will go in for my surgery to begin my new life WHOO - HOO, though I am not actually having the Lap-Band I have opted for the Realize band, as my surgeon says he has had less problems with this one. I start my pre op diet Monday, and was told I need to lose at least 15 lbs...I can do this...I can do this..I am going to do this

Congrats to u!! I am July 29 just a few days b4 u!! My surgeon also uses the Realize Band- I think everyone just uses the Lap band because they are all placed laproscopically. I am very excited too!! I just want some real food!! lol Day #6 of 14 on pre op liquids!! Good Luck! and YES we can do this!
