Hi Everyone! My surgery date is August 3rd!! I am so excited....annnnnd scared! LOL I have researched and read and prepared for six months and now that it's here I feel like I don't know anything! Ha! I go for my consultation/class with the nurse on Friday and the Pre-Op is after that and then my surgery is next Wednesday! Best of luck to you all!!

I have been searching and searching for someone who has the same exact day as me! it seemed like everyone had the 11 or 15 lol Im so happy to find someone who is going to be going through the same EXACT thing as me at the same exact time!! I love this site so much! hopefully we can be band friends and keep up with eachothers progress!!

I am the same as you, excited but nervous. I think I am more nervous rather than the recovery then the actual surgery because I leave for my freshman year of college on Aug. 20th!

Where are you going to college? What is your major? My ywin granddaughters are also starting to college this fall. One is going to Eastern Oregon to major in theater. The other is starting at a community college because she doesn't know what she wants to do yet and figured she would get the first two years out of the way for less $$$ and with some good friend.
