Jess55 97 Posted July 15, 2011 So just a quick back story. Banded 12/20. Had restriction for the first 4 months or so, decided to get my first fill in may. I was still losing but feeling hungrier. Though I did not give in and eat more. The fill was only 0.75 cc. Initially I felt good back to where I had been. That only lasted a week or two. I've been hungry again, again not giving in. I'm still losing, in fact last couple weeks have been really god. I've discovered if I mix a day or two of eating less than 1000 calories in during the week I lose a lot better. So my question is do I get a fill? I'm not looking for the band to tell me I can't have a piece of bread (though I don't eat it often). I want opinions if I should get it just to control the hunger. Though usually drinking a bunch of Water calms it down. And like I said even though it is there I stay within my calories.
Rachel412 116 Posted July 15, 2011 It's not going to change the level of how hungry you feel, but it should make it so once you eat a small meal, you're not hungry again for 4-5 hours. If I was in your position, I'd get another small fill.
vlp1968 83 Posted July 15, 2011 Sounds like a fill may be in order. I would deffinately go in and talk with your surgeon. Congrats on doing so well!
