Kenomac 0 Posted July 11, 2011 Thank yaw'll I'm on a liquid diet for today and tomorrow before my surgery and got to drink a bowel cleaner also before my surgery, here they also require you to take a blood thinner the day before and 9 days after your surgery. SusieD 0 Posted July 12, 2011 Good luck on your surgery, It's the best thing I've evr done for myself. Be sure to get up and walk asap after surgery. It's difficult but you can do it. I felt better much sooner than a lot of people I spoke to and the nurses said it was because of my doing laps around the floor.
PackersFan 4 Posted July 12, 2011 Hi Ken and welcome! I agree with Suzie. Walk. Walk. Walk. Also get a supply of the Gas-X dissolving strips. They help with the gas discomfort after surgery. Good luck and stay involved with the board - but don't necessarily believe everything you read.
