I stopped at the store today and they were passing out little cups of this to taste. It was pretty good, kinda tasted like frozen yogurt only it wasn't frozen.

It's called Activia (with Bifidus Regularis) and it is made by Dannon. If you eat one every day it is supposed to keep you regular. It says it is a delicious way to help naturally regulate your digestive system. It is clinically proven to be effective in two weeks, when eaten daily. It contains a unique culture - Bifidus Regularis exclusive to Dannon. It is a smoothe, blended, lowfat yogurt with fruit pieces. It has 110 calories and 5g of Protein. It comes in strawberry, vanilla, mixed fruit, blueberry, and prune. I tried the Strawberry and Vanilla. They were 1/$1.98.

So, for those of you that have been having problems, you might want to give this a try.

I saw those in Walmart and wondered what they were. I was in a hurry though and never checked it out. I'll have to try them next time we go shopping.

I also have started taking the "Fiber Choice" tablets now too, and have had much better luck with those than the Benefiber. They cost about the same and are working way better for me.

IF I didn't have that problem daily, I'd probably have a weight loss of some type. I use that powder Fiber in my coffee everyday, it might work every 3rd or 4th day. I'm anxious for the xenical to hit the market so I can take that again, never helped me lose weight, but for once I was regular as clock work. (couldn't possibly make gas any worse than it is now, subject to happen at any given moment, prepared or not)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
