Ro-Jae327 4 Posted July 5, 2011 I know, this may be a stupid question. But how long should you wait to have sex after surgery. I'm afraid that i may have moved my port. I am 2 1/2 weeks post op. Just a little discomfort but no sharp pain. Help!

lea3277 6 Posted July 10, 2011 I wonder how we would know if our ports have moved? I'm thinking it would be really severe pain, but then again I don't know. I have felt quite a bit of discomfort after sex, but wasn't sure if I should be worried or not. You definitely had a legitimate question....not stupid at all! sandiburn 23 Posted July 15, 2011 Thats great. I asked my rep the same question last week. She said the question was posed at a seminar she was helping with. The dr said " Hummm. We would like you to wait till you leave the surgery facilites, but whenever you feel like it..... go for it".
