I am three days post op and on the clear liquid diet. My intake was 42 oz yesterday and 52 oz today. I got those down easily but do not know how I can get the 64 oz I need to do from now on. I am drinking 1 oz every 15 mins. My Dr said it will take about 16 hours to get 64 oz in. I'm stressing about this. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks

Just do your best. It will get better every day. No need to stress. I was nowhere near 52 ounces at three days and I survived just fine. You're doing great!

I have to admit I didn't follow the 1oz every 15 minutes. I drank much more quickly than that. I was fine. You might want to call your doctor and see if you can try more fluids, see if you tolerate it. Congrats on your surgery!
