Not losing weight

Be patient guys. I was just banded a month before you guys in June and although we all lose some weight the first week, it is a lot of Water we are losing. Just take your time. DO NOT WEIGHT YOURSELF EVERYDAY. As you heal, as you start to be more active you will start to lose the weight. Remember you didn't put these pounds on overnight and you aren't going to lose it overnight. Be patient with the process. Work with it. Exercise. Eat a lot of Protein. Stay away from carbs if you can. The band is a tool, it doesn't do the work for you. Just stick your plan and you will see progress.

I am 12 days out. In the preop phase 10 day liquid I lost 19. I had lost 5 lbs by the 5th day, but have gained all 5 lbs back. So I am still at my 19 from before surgery. I am hoping to start losing soon.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...
