mousie_e 0 Posted July 1, 2011 So I finally got the message to my doctor to put me back in the bariatric program. When the nurse called she was completly out of line and trying to talk me out of the surgery. Out of the blue the woman went off..... I was in tears. I work in the medical field as well and that was uncalled for. I am too scared to complain since she is my pcm's nurse. My choices are non of her business!!!! Bet that b***h is skinny LOL Mad needed to vent.
Acadia 20 Posted July 1, 2011 She's actually out of line and potentially going against hospital policy to go off on you like that. You really should consider filing a formal complaint about it. It's that kind of bullying that causes people to second guess themselves and make poor decisions. 1 Tired of being Tired reacted to this
jennifer1 180 Posted July 3, 2011 ok i'm pissed and it didnt even happen to me!!! that is some nerve! if i ask for your opinion then that's when i want it. otherwise how about a little more do your freaking job and a lot more shut the hell up! ugh! i understand not wanting to complain for fear of reprecussions on your behalf. that's a tough one cuz i wouldnt want her to do anything to jepordize your process. ugh! but that sucks! CurlyDiva 5 Posted July 7, 2011 So glad I saw this thread tonight because today at pretesting, my Doctors nurse TOTALLY pissed me off!!! She was going over the clear liquid diet that I now have to start (blah!!!!) and when I asked how was I to get Protein (ya know, can I have shakes, or take a vitamin) she laughed! The B*tch actually laughed!!!!! So I was like, "honestly, there is nothing funny, and I'm genuienly concerned about my well being"..she says (in a condescending tone) "the surgeon wouldn't put you on anything that's detrimental to your health" I WAS LIVID!!! xavier 153 Posted July 7, 2011 Horrible people are everywhere...surround yourself with supportive loving people and, mostly, be kind to yourself! That nurse is surely an very unhappy person, be glad you are not her or married to her or her sister or whatever...
nurse535 30 Posted July 8, 2011 You should definitely file a complaint. That is uncalled for. A nurse's job is not to judge, but to inform and support in the best way possible.
