I had my surgery last Wednesday and I feel no restrictions.... at all. I was really starting to get nervous!! My first fill is scheduled for 7.25.11. How many cc's did your doctor hook you up with? Your band needs time to heal, so right now the band is just a band. You still have to be gentle and only eat how your supposed to eat because it's so fragile right now, but the band will be extremely loose until your first fill. I was not aware of that in the beginning, myself.
dmg223 1 Posted June 30, 2011 Singingpeaches Not all bands are empty right out of surgery. There are plenty of surgeons who put Fluid in the band during surgery (mine included). I have not gone in for a fill yet but I know I already have 4 cc in my band.

The info I posted above was just what I was told. They have been filling mine slowwwww as molasses.... hmmph... kinda wish it was tighter right now, too. Actually, I knew nothing about cc's or anything until just the other day. Just that it was empty for the first 6 weeks after surgery!
