millie26 1 Posted June 27, 2011 I know this is a wierd question, but when you go in to get weighed by your surgeon for the first time, are you in your clothes and shoes or do you wear a gown and go bare feet?
Rachel412 116 Posted June 27, 2011 I don't think it's a silly question but I wonder if it's the same for everyone. I'm in my clothes for weigh-in, but I take my shoes off.
vickyd 24 Posted June 27, 2011 For me it was (and still is) clothes and shoes.
MustangMama 2 Posted June 28, 2011 I was in my clothes but had to take my shoes off. Funny thing, the nurse measured me @ 5'5 1/2 inches tall. I am 5'6" flat footed. I have been since I was a teen. I wonder if this is a bit of padding the docs use to make sure your BMI is higher.
Nechama L 4 Posted June 28, 2011 I am also 5'6" and was measured at 5'5.5! I was thinking the same thing re: the BMI, but didnt really care as long as it got me approved!
stateofzen 46 Posted June 28, 2011 Clothes and shoes for me!
Acadia 20 Posted June 30, 2011 Clothes on, shoes and stockings off (for body fat percentage measurement). I actually wear nylons or tights so it's a bit of an ordeal.
