ethansgrandma 0 Posted January 25, 2006 :cry i am so totally bummed! i just found out that before i can get my band done i have to have cardiac clearance due to an abnormal ekg. the soonest i can get in to have that in is feb 17-21. that will push my band back to 3/3 instead of 2/3. i have had ekg's in the past and they usually come back abnormal because i have very tiny arteries. nevertheless, they wont do it until i get cardiac clearance. this is also going to push back my dh band surgery also until april rather than march. im just so bummed i could just cry. i was so excited and looking forward to next friday. Anwyn 0 Posted January 25, 2006 I feel your frustration... I was originally supposed to be banded in February or March of 2005 and it was postponed until the end of July. I shed a few tears myself, but just know that the big day WILL come. Hang in there!
Kim_8 2 Posted January 25, 2006 Ah - I'm sorry! I know that sucks a bunch to have been all ready to go and then been postponed.... It's only a month though - hang in there! It will fly by!
Tootarts 0 Posted January 25, 2006 The reason I got banded was because I have a heart problem BAVD (Bicuspid Aeortic Valve Disease) and I needed to get this darn weight off for my hearts sake............ So god forbid that you do have a problem with your heart I really don't believe it will affect your getting banded. Good luck and I'll Keep my fingers crossed for you.
