Dianechef 3 Posted January 25, 2006 Has anyone joined Fill Centers USA? I get my fills for $100 here in AZ & it works great. My fill person gave me all the information about signing up for this & encouraged me to give it a try. (She will be working with them!) I am trying to figure out the advantage of joining Fill Centers. You pay an upfront fee just to join & then fills are $155 each time. Am I missing something? This is MORE $$, not less......and I'd still be using the same fill person at the same place. Hmmmmm......
migbt 0 Posted January 25, 2006 I just got banded in Mexico 13 days ago and live near the fill center in Boynton Beach, Florida. For me it would be cheaper then the local doctors. FEEDBACK APPRECIATED............
Ruthie 2 Posted January 26, 2006 I guess the only advantage that I can see is for those of us that don't have a local dr. Doesn't make sense if the dr. that you go through does it for cheaper... Wonder what the set up fee is? I'd be interested to see what people others have to say about the fill centers.
Marimaru 7 Posted January 26, 2006 I have not signed up for them, but I have to say I'm a little sceptical. They were supposed to open in Octoberish of '04, then it was March of '05. In March I filled out a form to find out where doctors were and they told me they were working with someone in Torrance (right near me) that would be with them soon. In November I was told the same thing again. Now still it's "next month". The program sounds great, it sounds like a great way to get people hooked up with doctors. I'll probably check them out again in another month or so to see if they have that doc in Torrance.
Alexandra 55 Posted January 26, 2006 Does anyone know if they have a uniform fill procedure? Does it involve fluoroscopy or are the fills "blind"?
smatyas 0 Posted January 31, 2006 Yes they have a uniform fill procedure. Fluoroscopy when needed. My understanding is that the Torrance location is finishing up preliminaries with where she is going to practice at. When she is finished, her location will open.
