MsButterKup23 1 Posted January 25, 2006 Mine can be tender at times, mainly when I sleep on it at night. Your English is fine by the way.. where are you from?
the best me 6 Posted January 25, 2006 Yep, good English, don't worry!!! Your walking is probably what is making your port area hurt a little. Keep up the walking and maybe use an ice pack on your port after your walk. Just for a few minutes. That tissue is tender, just be "nice" to it. Good luck, and Congrats! Marimaru 7 Posted January 25, 2006 After I was banded, whenever I would do new things that would move my stomach muscles in a way that it hadn't moved since surgery, my port area would be sore. Even at over a year out I still find one of those every now and then and it's sore for a couple of days. Just watch it carefully, if it gets red, or feels warm to the touch, go to your doctor because then it is an infection. :cake:
