being banded in 10 days! and it only took 5 years

Hey guys i am in no way new to the forum..but i have made my decision to be banded after 5 years! yes i said 5 years. Between being sick for 3 of those years and trying on my own; i researched this for 5 years so i beleive with all my heart it can not be said that i am going into this blindly! ive had some resistance from family and friends...but for once! its not about them it is about me. I am doing this for me!! My surgery date is June 28th 2011 :) i am excited and a bit nervous all the same..but i am happy to say i am on board and can not wait to make all your aquantaices and be on the losers bench with you all
