shoulder pain when stuck

I noticed everytime I get food stuck I have left shoulder pain. Even after the food passes the pain in my shoulder lingers..does this happen to anyone else? I'm kinda worried its heart related but just don't know. Thanks

Hi:

I get the shoulder pain that lingers for hours when I get stuck too. In fact, when I get stuck it always hurts my shoulder more than my tummy.

You may want to mention it to your doctor though, just to give yourself peace of mind.

I always get the shoulder pain if I overeat or get stuck. The doc said it is a nerve that can be irritaed that causes it .

I have the same pain and a tingling sensation in my left shoulder. After the food passes it lingers anywhere from 15-45 minutes. My doctor told me that it was nothing to worry about.
