Looking for Phil Cohen, PA-C in VA

Recommended Posts

I'm desperately trying to locate Phil Cohen formerly of Advanced Weightloss Solutions. Advanced Weightloss Solutions has shut down and I cannot find out where Phil has gone. I've been with Phil for three years and I don't want to go to anyone else. If anyone knows where he went, please let me know. Thanks a bunch :)

I haven't been able to get in touch with BandCare of NOVA using either their phone or website. Do you happen to know where Phil is now? I used to see him and need an adjustment badly and really would just rather see Phil. Thanks for any info!

I haven't been able to locate Phil Cohen. Dr. Greene, Dr. Pinnar's associate, operates out of Reston through Quantum Bariatrics. I go to him now since he is the only one I am familiar with through Dr. Pinnar's old practice. Their phone number is 703-639-5529 and the website is www.quantumbariatrics.com. Good luck!

I just wanted to let anyone know who has been looking for Phil that he is nolonger in practice as far as I know. Dr Marchia was suing him over which patients records and contact info was through AWLS and what was Phil's info. Basically he put Phil out business. If anyone was thinking of seeing him for sleep issues I would not recommend him; he's greedy, has poor social skills and no sense of the value of others time. You wait forever when you have to see him, it's awful. Go anywhere else!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
