Well, I am a little over two months out. I have lost 27lbs.. I've had 3 fills. The first was 2ccs. Then 1cc. And yesterday, my fill was only 1/2cc. However up until yesterday I felt a slight restriction.. but not like today. I know everyones number is different. What im wondering is if this really tight feeling, only being able to sip water/isopure, My sweet spot? Or does it mean I might need a little out? Will it stay this tight or will it loosen up a little in the days to come? Im not terribly worried since I can get Water and shakes down... And im only liquids for the rest of today and mushys tomorrow. What can I expect in the days to come?? Any info is appreciated! Thanks :)

if in a few days you still can only sip Water and Protein Drinks then you are too tight. Liquids only for 1-2 days after a fill and them mushy food for 1-2 days... so when you get to "real" food you'll know. You should be able to eat. You should be able to drink enough. If you can't then you are too tight. But there's always swelling when you're filled so as long as you can drink then give it a couple of days to let the swelling go down, then you'll know where you are.

Thanks so much! That's what I was kind of thinking, but I wanted to be sure. :)

My understanding of the sweet spot is when you can go 4 or more hours without being hungry. But u should be able to eat witbout getting to stuck if you eat it right. Chew small bites!

Good luck, hopefully your there!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
