Hi, I am getting ready to have my lapband surgery this Thursday (June 2, 2011). I am excited and nervous at the same time. I want to be a success at this. Dr. Ponce at the Gastric Band Institute in Chattanooga. Have any of you used him? I have always struggled with my weight but after having children and entering menapose I just kept getting bigger and have been hungry all the time. I have been on this journey for over a year now to get to this point. I still can't put my mind around being full on such a small amount. I know it is a tool and I have to use it correctly but I am putting a lot of faith in this to help me. I'll let you know how things are going as I continue my journey. :rolleyes:

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
