ImStrongEnough 0 Posted May 27, 2011 Hello everyone!! So I'm a 28yr ok'd female, living in sunny (haha) Seattle and I'm 3 days post-op. I'm so excited that I've been able to get the surgery done and can't wait to be able to workout and use my new "tool". I'm still a little gasy (lol) and got some pressure, but for the most part, I'm walking around and taking fluids with no issues. So hello everyone and I look forward to taking this journey with you all!!

ImStrongEnough 0 Posted May 29, 2011 Congrats on your new beginnings! I'm 28 and sweating like a pig down here in Texas! LOL I'm new here too and I can't wait till I can begin my new journey. Thanks DIVA!! I think I'm doing good so far. Some cravings every now and then, but for the most part, I'm doing good!! All I can say is thank God for my blender!! I've been able to blend all of my favorite Soups so that they were "sip-able".. Haha!! But it's helped!! I'm so excited I want to heal already so I can start working out and get back into swimming so I can see the pounds melt away!! Good luck on your journey and see you around the boards! NJGirl32 43 Posted May 29, 2011 Hello Seattle!! Welcome and congrats on your band!! I was banded on the 25th and seem to be doing pretty good as well! I wish I would have gotten the band in my 20's rather then 40's-you have such a bright (and skinny) future ahead of you!

Bandedboomer 7 Posted May 29, 2011 I am right behind you because my Lap Band surgery is scheduled for June 13 in Kirkland. I am also excited, but a little scared too. For all of us I think this is our "last chance" at getting healthy and losing the weight we need to lose. It is also a very big commitment so it is great to have other people to talk to who are further on the road to healthy eating and maintaining.
