On May 14th, i decided to have lap band (after 18 months of researching and thinking about it). Yesterday, I met with Dr. George Merriman in Shreveport Louisiana . He is fabulous , and i feel at peace with him and know that he is the doctor for me.

I also found out that i will be having my surgery at the end of JUNE !!!!

WOW ....that was fast. Now, starting to get a little nervous but also excited.

Now starts my work on getting off coffee, diet cokes, and carbs.

Congratulations! The time is going to fly by. They didn't ask me to get off coffee. That would really bother me, but I would have done anything they told me was necessary.
