Msz Alie 0 Posted June 13, 2011 Hey there, I'm also in NYC and have HIP Prime. So far, I am waiting for my approval. So far i've been given the OK from HIP for the consult and to get all of my blood work and exams done. HIP requires us to get a paper filled out for 6 months from the doctor showing we've been trying to lose weight within the last 2 years or a letter of reconmendation from our Primary care physician. They also require a TSH (thyroid blood exam) and an Upper G.I exam (basically a test of your chest to take xrays of your intestines). There hasn't been much jumping or screaming during the process so far... just yelling at my doctor's office manager. LOL...
