Juliat 6 Posted May 23, 2011 You and I had surgery at the same time Mine was 9-28-2010 I get disappointed too because I see people who had surgery about the same time or after and they've lost a ton of weight. The thing to remember is that everybody's journey is different. You are going to gain and lose weight. You shouldn't beat yourself up over it and pick yourself up and start again. You're getting fills which means that you want it to work. Let the past be the past and move forward. You'll get there! Julia
glam_gabbi 7 Posted May 24, 2011 Hello, I too had surgery in September. I've noticed that it's getting harder and harder to lose weight, I guess I just need to step it up and restrict myself a bit more. Anyway, I wish you both the best in your journeys!!! : )
tle5000 1 Posted May 24, 2011 I beleive I now have a total of 7.5cc in an 11cc band. So far the only thing I have had problems eating is chicken and bread, other wise I could eat all I want. Hopefully this fill will be it. (hopefully)
vlp1968 83 Posted May 24, 2011 I hope this next fill does it for you. Until then, I would focus on eating the right foods (low carb, low fat, high protien. Your portions may be larger than they will be once you have restriction, but at least you should stop gaining. Excersise is also a huge piece of the puzzle. It has so many benefits, jsut one being weight loss. I found it very difficult to start, but now it's just a matter of routine. Start out slow and gradually increase your intensity/duration. Best wishes.
