CTMommy22 1 Posted May 21, 2011 My doctor started me on a medically suprives diet in order to get my surgery date by August, but now my insurance company is making me see a nutrionist 6x before my surgery, at this rate I wont get my date untill considering i had to book an apointment out with her 2 months... I have 75% of my pre-op done expect the nutrionist and thats the one thing thats holding me back, and its super frustrating anybody else fun into problems with nurtrionist vs medically supervised diet? vickyd 24 Posted May 21, 2011 I didn't have to do a medically supervised diet but I would think that the nutritionist would be working with you on how and what you will be eating after surgery (at least, that's what mine did...and still does)
