Hi Itsbreezy,

I'm going to contact you via PM so we can work on finding out why you're unable to update, and remedy the issue.

Hi there,

We're currently working on a resolution for the issues that have been mentioned with regards to editing your Lap-Band Patient Profile.

If you're able, I'd suggest trying out Firefox or Chrome for the time being.

We hope to have the new Patient Control Panel online in the next couple of weeks and will be sure to update you as soon as it's ready.

Thanks for your patience :-)

-Ken

Hello,

We are still working on a new version of the Patient Editor.

I believe that we should have this ready by tomorrow or Monday at the latest.

As soon as it's ready, we'll update this Topic and would appreciate feedback so that we can continue to improve our system :-)

Thanks for your patience :-)

Hello,

I have enabled the new Patient Panel.

You can access the Panel by clicking on your User Menu in the header and selecting "My LAP-BAND Patient Profile".

From there, you should be able to make all of the changes needed. If you encounter any issues or problems, please let us know!

Thanks,

Ken

Hey All,

As you may have noticed, we've launched a Lap-Band Surgeon and Patient Search application for LapBandTalk!

The application is currently in Beta - so there may be minor issues or bugs. If you find any, or if you simply have a suggestion that you'd like to see make it into the system, please let us know right here!

Thanks, and we are looking forward to your feedback!

- Ken S.

HELP! Can anyone hear me? I am a new member. I don't even know if I'm doing this chat thing right. I can't see things I've written, I can't see any responses, and I am locked into a "lock Mode" that I can't seem to undo. This is no help to me if I can't communicate with yall.

My profile name isbig2little, and my real name is Michelle.

Anyone with experience or not please try to help me, I want friends and responses and even help others if I can

I just posted a Big Thank You.

I was told to use firefox, and everything was accessable.

If you dont have it . Google it and install for free.

Keep as a back up in case your internet explorer goes down.

you will have a back up.

It worked just fine at lapbandtalk.com I never put my stuff on Facebook, so I don't know how it will work there.... But Firefox works.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
