SIPS in Seattle 345 Posted May 20, 2011 For the few days, my lips have been swollen, chapped, and burning! I saw my family doctor yesterday and she couldn't tell me what was wrong either.... has anyone experienced super chapped/burning sensation to your lips?? Help YES! I'm experiencing that now... I thought it was an allergic reaction to something...cuz they itch like crazy too...and no amount of vaseline is helping. I cannot use carmex or blistex.... My skin is too sensitive for anything like that. Just pure vaseline. bah!
Melissannde 41 Posted May 21, 2011 Just my upper lip and the edges of my nose are chapping. I don't think it's dehydration because I'm getting in 64 to 72 to 96 oz of Water a day, then there's the other stuff I also drink. No change in my diet or medications. I'm using burt's bee's lip balm and it's helping a bit. Have no idea what else to do. Seeing the doc for hopefully a small fill this coming week.. will see if they have any advice/suggestions.
