I'm sure it works but most fruit juices are loaded with sugar. If it fits into your calorie budget - go for it.

That's true, juice is really high in sugar. I think maybe there is prune juice with no added sugar though. And yes, prune juice is an outstanding laxative. Be careful though, too much could give you the runs!!!

I agree about the sugar, and it has lots of calories and carbs. If you really want prunes, I would eat the actual fruit instead of drinking the juice. However, I would stay away from both. If you eat dried fruit, I think too many calories and carbs slide down too fast.
