skinny-i-will-b 0 Posted May 15, 2011 I was banded 4/21/11.. Just three weeks ago. On my two week check up they filled with 3cc... When I eat I have to stop myself because I feel I am eating too much, but I never feel the FULL feeling. I have never spit up or even burped. The other night we went out to eat. I ordered grilled fish. I only let myself eat 1/4 of it, because I fill that was all I should have been able to eat, but I am concerend that I did not feel the FULL FEELING! I easily could have eatten 1/2 of it, but chose not too. After we got home within an Hour I was hungry. I dont go back to the dr for 3 more weeks... I think i need more filled before then. I also have not really lost any weight in the past two weeks. I am loosing inches but no weight. From the I day signed up for surgery to the day of I lost 18lbs, but since surgery I have only lost 5lbs.. i want to lose this faster... why am i not getting the FULL FEELING? i am not drinking during my meal.. in fact i wait almost 1 hour after i eat??????? Rachel412 116 Posted May 15, 2011 I suggest reading other posts on the board. What you're feeling is very normal. Many people need multiple fills to get to a point where they feel satisfied after eating a smaller meal. Those of us in your situation just need to tough it out until we get to a good fill level. ETA: some people lose well right after surgery, some don't lose at all, some even gain weight in the weeks after surgery. Normal weight loss for people with the band is 1-2 pounds a week.
