Thanks, a very interesting article. I think my success was due to eating a designated amount and then stopping. That and regular work outs.

I enjoy Dr. Simpson's articles. He's on Facebook if any of you care to follow him there. He posts things from time to time about banding and general health issues.

Huh. Interesting. However I don't feel that he's really describing my experience. I can't put my finger on it, but to me this sounds very much like a non-banded person talking! I eat far smaller portions for dinner than I used to, for example, but it's not as simple as pure willpower OR the band restricting me in some way I can describe.

Interesting article. He however does sound a bit conflicting compared to alot of the other key points mentioned regularly in these forums. I agree he does not sound like he is asupportor of the band.
